When we first started to look a builder to do a loft conversion in 2021 we posted request on trust pilot Gary Taylor responded and a meeting was arranged at our home We had other companies in to quote for the work but we liked Gary the moment he stepped into our house. He was not a suited & booted salesman but looked like a proper builder. Took him on to do our conversion and he did everything we asked him & his two trusted labourers (Patrick & Jaz) were a dream team. Very respectful of our home. Love our conversion so much that we had Gary & his team do a kitchen extension in 2022. Even though we kept changing our minds with design & layout Gary always took on board what we said and advised us if it was practical or not I would not hesitate to recommend Build & Convert services to everyone

Build and Convert have completed two projects for us: an L-shaped loft conversion in 2023, then a collection of various internal and external refurbishment works in 2024. Both projects involved complexities due to the age and nature of our property, but these were always handled with thoroughness, flexibility and care that was 100% reassuring. The standards of quality, courtesy and reliability demonstrated by Gary, everyone in his core team and all third party contractors were of the highest order throughout. Costs are set out up-front clearly and straightforwardly. The organisation and co-ordination is excellent, resulting in a smooth-running, low-stress process with excellent outcomes that we are delighted with. We're certain to call on Build and Convert again in the future, as plan to be in this property for many years to come and have other projects in mind.

With my 2nd biggest investment to date. Finding the right contractors was vital for me and the family. From Gary's first visit to quote for the job, we knew there was something unique about his approach. He cares and builds as if they were living in the home. Kept us informed throughout of any additional charges. As well as being flexible to accommodate any last minute changes. Cleanliness was 5star and the finish was immaculate. A few minor snags (x2) that the team will soon be back out to deal with. I would highly recommend Build and Convert for all household projects. I will be using them again for the kitchen extension!
